Comicverse: Behind The Counter Kickstarter Week 2 Update

Week 2 update by Steve: At 13 days left, we are 45% funded. This campaign is feeling like when I make 24-hour comics. It always seems to have a very slow start, but then I start to get moving, and very slowly but steadily make progress, always a bit behind where I need to be. It’s around the point we are now with the Kickstarter, just past the midpoint, that I begin to have doubts and wonder if I can make it. Yet there is no choice but to keep going and hope for the best. You people have been fantastic, and the pledges have been coming in, slow but steady!  Keep it up; I think we can do this!

P.S., It looks like this one could very well have more backers than our previous efforts. Thanks so far to Steven, Stacey Aragon, Amy Tobol, Shane Patrick Boyle, Gail, Hans Rickheit, Bobb Waller, Robin Barnard, Nolan, Bryan G Brown, Rob McMonigal, Dean Westerfield, Gabriel McCann, Shawn Dubin, Canada K, Mucha Smooches, Rafer Roberts, Jenny Peters, Eric Wilmoth, Barney Eng, Dana Williams, Beatriz Moisset, Max Ink, Brian Payne, and Nancy Ann. Whew!

About thecomicverse

Steve Peters received a Xeric Grant in 1996, which he used to self-publish Awakening Comics. In 2006, he won the Gene Day Memorial Prize for a magical realist comic called Chemistry. He met Bianca Alu-Marr at an open mic in 2003 (Steve was playing music and doing the sound, Bianca was reading her poetry). The Comicverse is one of many projects they have collaborated on, and their most popular. Bianca is the writer and and Steve is the artist. Sometimes Bianca writes and plots the stories; many stories are co-plotted by Bianca and Steve.
